Premium Classes
Introduction
UIC Recreation and Wellbeing also offers a wide variety of Premium Classe offered during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. The classes offered in this program are structured, small-group sessions that emphasize weekly progression and technique development. These classes are perfect for those who want to commit to learning and improving a specific skill. The instructors of these courses are certified within their discipline and experienced at teaching all levels of abilities.
These classes are not included in any fitness pass. Registration is required and can only be completed online. These classes are open to students, members, and non-members alike. There is a fee associated with these classes based on your department affiliation.
Class Examples:
- Mind-Body & Dance: Pilates Reformer, Ballet, Jazz, Argentinian Tango, Salsa, Bachata
- Martial Arts: Ju-Jutsu Beginner & Intermediate
- Racquet Sports: Pickleball, Squash, Racquetball
