Now is the time to find a way to make regular physical exercise part of your weekly routine. Our fitness programs and services are designed to help you get fit and stay fit. Currently registered students and members, at least 18 years of age, are invited to take advantage of the following programs and services.

Drop-In Group Fitness

All DROP-IN Group Fitness classes are open on a first-come, first-served basis. Some classes are limited due to equipment and space requirements. Classes offered vary each semester.

Group Session Classes


Group Fitness Session program is open to UIC Students and Campus Recreation Members. General public are allowed to participate but must pay the non-member price. In order to be allowed entrance into the facility, all non-members must bring his/her government issued picture ID to the membership desk. The instructor will have a complete roster of all participants who are registered for the class.

Instructional Programs


Have you ever wanted to take a dance class, or learn to rock climb? If so, our Instructional Programs are for you! These non-credit instruction courses are progressive in nature and focus on experiential learning, skill building, wellness, and fitness.

Synrgy360- Small Group Fitness

NEW to to SFC! Synrgy360 small group training combines elements such as TRX, kettlebells, boxing, battle ropes, and more, into a multi-stationed adult jungle gym. Our certified personal trainers will take you through a functional, effective circuit-style class to help you reach your goals . All fitness levels are welcomed.
