The Sport & Fitness Center is the hub of recreational activity on the west campus. The facility is located in the middle of the Illinois Medical District and adjacent to the UIC Student Center West.

6 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Aquatics Area 6 a.m. – 9 a.m., 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday
10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Aquatics Area 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

SHW Suite
Coming Soon: The Student Health and Wellbeing Suite
The Sport & Fitness Center is undergoing exciting renovations to create the new Student Health and Wellbeing Suite—a space designed to integrate physical fitness, mental health, and relaxation opportunities in one convenient location.
Once complete, the suite will feature:
- Massage and zero-gravity chairs for drop-in relaxation.
- An updated massage room, booked through our Massage Therapy Services.
- Counseling Center office space, making mental health support even more accessible.
This renovation is part of a larger Student Health and Wellbeing initiative that will expand services across the hall, establishing a dedicated space for student health and wellbeing on the west campus. Together, these efforts will bring students more opportunities to care for their mind and body in a supportive environment.
