Learn-to-Swim Information
Our Learn to Swim Aquatics classes are taught following American Red Cross standards and are designed to help students develop basic swimming skills. These lessons focus on water safety, introducing aquatic environments, and building confidence in the pool. We aim to create a positive learning experience and ensure students understand water safety procedures and practices.

- Location: 737 S Halsted St.
- Class Duration: 45-minute lessons
- Schedule: Classes meet once a week for 5 weeks
- Ages: Designed for students ages 6 to 13 years old
Evaluation Information
- Evaluation Pre-Requisite: An evaluation is required for children new to the Learn to Swim Aquatics program.
- For Beginner Level Students: If you know your child is a beginner, no evaluation is needed. You can register for Learn to Swim Level 1 directly.
Class Size & Instruction
- Class Size: Each class will have no more than 7 students, with 2 to 3 instructors to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
- Parent Participation: Parents are welcome to sit in Aquatics area during the class.
Please review policies prior to enrollment:
- No Make-ups: We do not offer make-up classes for missed sessions.
- Refunds: Refunds will only be issued for doctor-documented illness or condition.
- Nontransferable: Lessons are nontransferable.
