Preschool Swim Lessons
Preschool Information
These lessons are taught according to American Red Cross standards and are designed to help preschool-aged children become comfortable in the water. The goal is to familiarize students with aquatic environments and begin developing basic aquatic skills. Students will learn safe water practices, build positive water-related behaviors, and start gaining confidence in the pool.
Class Details

- Location: 737 S Halsted St.
- Class Duration: 30-minute lessons
- Schedule: Classes meet once a week for 5 weeks
- Ages: Designed for children ages 3 to 5 years old
Evaluation Information
- Evaluation Pre-Requisite: An evaluation is required for children who are new to the Preschool Aquatics program.
- For Beginner Level Students: If you know your child is at the beginner level, no evaluation is required. Simply register for Preschool I.
Class Size & Instruction
- Class Size: Each class will have no more than 6 students, with 2 to 3 instructors to ensure personalized attention.

- Diaper Policy: Children who are not toilet-trained must wear a swim diaper or tight-fitting plastic pants over their diaper. (Please note: NO disposable or cloth diapers allowed in the pool.)
- No Make-ups: We do not offer make-up classes for missed sessions.
- Refunds: Refunds will only be issued for doctor-documented illness or condition.
- Nontransferable: Lessons are nontransferable.
