The Student Recreation Facility offers two types of community memberships; Community and Community LIMITED.
Individuals or families will be allowed to purchase a membership with the understanding that the primary mission of all Campus Recreation facilities is to serve the needs of the UIC campus. Programmed activities have priority use of space, and some areas may not be available. Campus Recreation facilities follow the academic calendar as published by the University of Illinois at Chicago. Facilities and times may not be available due to designated holidays and university mandated break periods. The Community LIMITED membership may be suspended at any time as determined by Campus Recreation.
Community (SRF only)
Community memberships are intended for individuals and families not affiliated with the University of Illinois at Chicago either as a student, faculty, staff, alumni, or other groups as designated. This membership allows access to the Student Recreation Facility only. A limited number of Community memberships will be made available based on space availability. A valid, government-issued photo ID must be presented when applying for a recreation membership.

Entrance Policy
All Community members will be issued a UIC Visitor i-card which is required for entrance. An exception can be made if a member does not have their UIC i-card, but a government issued photo I.D. MUST be provided. This exception can only be made twice per semester. Once the membership is verified it will be documented and entrance will be allowed. If a member forgets their i-card more than twice in any given semester, the member is required to provide a government issued photo I.D. and pay a $15 entrance fee to utilize the facility.
Campus Recreation does not permit the community to purchase a daily entrance pass. Only recreation members may sponsor guests for admittance. Please see Guest Information for a full list of policies.

Community LIMITED (SRF only)
Community LIMITED memberships are similar to Community memberships, but LIMITED members pay a discounted rate in exchange for limited access into the facility. With this membership option, access is prohibited Monday – Friday from 3:00 – 9:00 pm. LIMITED members may enter the facility during any other time.
