With over 800,000 visits to our facilities annually and initiatives like Exercise is Medicine on Campus, we’re proud to be at the forefront of integrating wellbeing into the UIC experience.

  • > 18,000 Over 54% of students visited Recreation Facilities in FY 24

  • > 3 Students who visited Recreation Facilities 3 or more times per week have GPA from 3.6 - 4.0

  • = 5.70 Students who utilized Recreation and Wellbeing facilities exhibited a first to second year retention rate of nearly 80%, compared to 74.1% for those who did not use these facilities.
