Primo Dance Crew is a student organization at the University of Illinois Chicago that provides a source of recreation, entertainment, and friendship through dance. Although hip-hop is Primo’s main style of dance, members have the ability to audition their own choreography of any and all styles. Primo Dance Troupe has performed at World of Dance, Prelude Midwest, Urban Showcase, Intercollegiate Urban Dance Competition, and numerous UIC events (The Veil, ImaginAsian, Night Vision, Battle of the Bamboo, My Sassy Korea, Resonance, etc.). We also host our own annual showcase, Never Stop Dancing, with Rooted in Motion, in hopes to give back to the local community.
Primo would love to have everybody come out and increase their passion for learning and dancing! The team loves to host workshops, fall and spring auditions, and our annual showcase.
