Healthy Campus Week

September 15-19, 2025

Since 2015, Healthy Campus Week has been a nationwide event where campuses across the country engage their students in healthy activities and wellbeing education. This year, from September 15-19, we invite you to join us in promoting a healthier, more sustainable campus community.

Each day of the week features a different theme, encouraging students to participate in various activities and competitions. Campuses share their events and activities on social media, fostering a sense of community and nationwide participation.

This Year’s Themes

  • Monday, September 15: Farmers Market/Sustainability
    • Explore local farmers markets and learn about sustainable practices.
  • Tuesday, September 16: Food Insecurity Awareness
    • Participate in activities that raise awareness about food insecurity and ways to combat it.
  • Wednesday, September 17: Largest Physical Activity Challenge
    • Join the largest physical activity challenge on campus! Get moving and track your progress.
  • Thursday, September 18: Mindfulness/Mental Health Awareness
    • Engage in mindfulness practices and mental health awareness activities to support your wellbeing.
  • Friday, September 19: Eating Fruits & Veggies in School or Sorority/Fraternity Colors
    • Celebrate the week by eating fruits and vegetables in your school or sorority/fraternity colors.

Get Involved

  1. Participate: Join the activities and competitions happening throughout the week.
  2. Share: Post your experiences on social media using @healthiercampus @uic_campusrec and #healthycampusweek.
  3. Learn: Take part in workshops, discussions, and events that promote a healthier lifestyle.
