Women’s Rugby is a sports club that plays two seasons, fall and spring. In the Fall season, we play other Chicago & Wisconsin area university teams for a shot at the Great Waters Conference championship, and in the spring we play whenever and wherever we can.
No experience is necessary to join, The Women’s rugby community strives to have team members of all levels of athleticism, backgrounds, and body types. Women’s rugby is an empowering and body-positive sport with a place for anyone and everyone on the team.
Women’s rugby also runs a variety of social events including the annual Rugby Formal with the UIC Men’s rugby team and strives to maintain a positive and social relationship with other Chicago area teams.
